Jynx wins the 2009 Chicago Championships

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL - Jynx went 6 and 1 on the weekend to win the Chicago Championships. Jynx started off by beating the Young Guns on Thursday night, went on to beat Fist and Iron on Saturday, then beat the Road Runners and Flash to come out on top of the winners bracket. Flash came back from the consolation bracket to beat Jynx but Jynx won the final game against Flash last night.

Flash finished 2nd by going 7 and 2 with both losses coming against Jynx. Flash beat Avalanche, Niners, Windy City, and the Forty-Five along with beating Jynx once. The Forty-Fives finished 3rd and Iron finished 4th, both teams losing Saturday night and battling back in the consolation bracket on Sunday. Windy City and the Road Runners finished tied for 5th, Windy City being beat by Flash and Iron and the Road Runners being beat by Jynx and the Forty-Fives. The Niners and Nutz finished tied for 7th.
