Miller 45s and Flashback split North/South

BERWYN, IL - The Miller 45s and Flashback decided to split 1st and 2nd place in the 2008 North/South Classic. The Miller 45s went a perfect 5 and 0 and Flashback went 5 and 1 with the only loss coming against the Miller 45s in the final game of the championship bracket. Flashback beat Entourage initially in the winners bracket and then again in the consolation bracket and would have had to beat the Miller 45s twice in a row to win the tournament, but the two teams decided to split the earnings for 1st and 2nd place because the game ran late into Sunday night.

Entourage finished in 3rd place. After losing to Flashback they beat Lemons, Thunder, Windy City and Avalanche in the consolation bracket. Avalanche finished in 4th place beating Kings and Iron in the winners bracket before losing to the 45s and then beating Players Inc, Traffic and Hype before losing to Entourage in the consolation bracket. Windy City and Hype tied for 5th place and Thunder and Traffic tied for 7th place. Other teams making with 3 wins include Knuckles, Heat, Karl, Players Inc, Raiders and Lemons.
